Loch Lomond Lampshade
At last, you can fit Britain's largest lake into your living room with our Loch Lomond lampshade. Considered the meeting point of the central and highlands, you can enjoy the bonnie banks of this natural wonder from the comfort of the great indoors.
Like our other Scottish lampshades, the Loch Lomond lampshade features an original illustration capturing the loch's rugged beauty and that of the surrounding Trossachs National Park. The landscape is rendered in bold, broad brushstrokes, making it a true statement piece.
When the light is turned off, the Loch Lomond lampshade has a cool palette of serene blues and soft greys. Turning on the light, however, warms up the palette and saturation, highlighting the rusty peak of Ben Lomond. The overall effect is that of Scotland's own famously changeable weather.
With its looser, more impressionistic illustrative style, this lampshade could work as an understated piece of decor or be displayed as a conversation piece. Like many of our custom homewares, it makes an ideal gift for anyone whose heart belongs to Scotland.
The Loch Lomond lampshade, like every one of our lampshades is made in the UK by printing our original illustrations onto a soft cotton twill with a slight woven texture. The fabric is then fashioned into a lampshade with hand-rolled edges and a single seam, preserving the appearance of the illustration in full.
You can purchase the Loch Lomond lampshade in a variety of styles and sizes, including floor & table or pendant & ceiling. Our drum lampshades are available in sizes from 20cm x 18cm to 60cm x 30cm.
