Christmas Postage
Order by 14th December for Christmas Delivery*
See below for more information on Lampshade orders and Postal Strike Delays.
To give your Christmas parcels the best chance of arriving in time, the last date to order for Christmas delivery in the UK is
Wednesday 14th December (1st Class only - unfortunately the date for 2nd Class has now passed.)
See more about our postage costs here.
For Lampshade orders which take 2-3 weeks to make, we're afraid the date for ordering these in time for Christmas has passed.
*Please note that due to strikes and a current backlog in the Royal Mail system, we cannot guarantee that your order will arrive in time, but by ordering by these dates it gives your Christmas parcels the best chance.
Postal Strikes and Delays
Oh no!
The Communication Workers Union has formally notified Royal Mail they plan to call on their members who collect, sort and deliver parcels and letters to take national strike action on Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th, Friday 23rd and Saturday 24 December 2022.
This means there will be a delay to any orders sent from now, including lampshade orders as Parcelforce and Royal Mail are both affected. We will be posting out orders around these dates as frequently as possible, however we cannot predict how delayed any orders will be once they are in the postage system.
We're sorry for any inconvenience but as always, our lovely handmade products are definitely worth the wait so we want to say thank you for your patience and understanding.
Harbour Lane will be closed for our annual break from 2pm on Saturday 24th December 2022. We will be back open on Monday 9th January 2023, and any orders made over our break will be sent out after the 9th January.
