The Sea and Sky lampshade is stunning in any case, but its typically British stormy and wonderfully moody skies are transformed when backlit. Turn on your lamp underneath, and suddenly the soaring gull is surrounded and bathed in a glorious blazing sunset of colour.
The Sea and Sky lampshade features the original work of art printed onto soft cotton twill. The fabric has a slightly woven texture, rolled edges, and a single seam, ingeniously placed so as to allow the roaring seas and blowing skies flow across the full surface of the shade.
Harbour Lane’s Sea and Sky lampshade can be tailored to your space, whether you need it as a table lamp, floor lamp, ceiling shade, or pendant light. Sizes range from a neat 20cm x 18cm through to a generous 60cm x 30cm. For those seeking alternative measurements, our drum lampshades range offers additional designs with the same timeless beauty.
All handcrafted lamp shades are made to order so please allow 3 weeks. Free domestic UK shipping is available on orders over £100, so we recommend that you consider purchasing in combination with another of our hand-finished products in order to save on delivery costs.
Please note that due to the variances in screen resolutions, the true colours may differ slightly in person than on screen. To see examples of the lamps in person, please visit our shops in South Queensferry and Fortrose.
Can be made in a range of sizes and either to fit a base or to hang from the ceiling.
Our lampshades feature illustrations, which means the orientation you choose will dictate the direction of your design. If you need a shade for a lamp base or standing lamp, where the shade will sit on the bulb fitting, please make sure to choose the Floor & Table option.
If it’s a shade that will hang from the ceiling, or hang from it’s light fitting, be sure to choose Pendant & Ceiling. See the images for examples. The wrong orientation will mean your design is upside down, and the bulb will likely be visible over the shade!
Please make sure you're choosing the right orientation as we won't be able to change your shade once it's been made. There will be a £25 surcharge for any designs ordered that need to be remade due to incorrect orientation.
All lampshades are sent on a 48 hour tracked service with Parcel Force. You'll receive an email with the tracking details once it's been collected by our courier. This is £9 or FREE for any orders over £100.
If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. You can return your product onto one of our store gift cards or swap for a different product.
As a small business we can only issue refunds on faulty products.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:
- Discounted, sale and custom items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Jewellery items such as earrings due to hygiene reasons
- Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
- Bespoke and made to order items are not eligible for a refund unless faulty.
To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:
- Reply to your order confirmation email to request which products you would like to return
- We will then confirm your request and either send a return label (if the item is faulty) or advise the best postal method.
Additional Information:
- Orders must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition.
- As the products in our shop are usually made to order, if you need to amend your order or cancel, you must do so within 24 hours of ordering.
- As soon as we receive your returned item we will process your refund. This can take up to 5 working days to appear back in your account.
- We will only cover the return shipping fee of faulty/damaged items.
- We must be notified of damaged items within 3 working days of delivery.
