Aurora Lampshade
It's impossible not to be in awe of the Merry Dancers, otherwise known as the Northern Lights. We loved capturing the magic and colours that are so unique to this particularly impressive sky in our Aurora Lampshade, which is part of our Big Sky collection.
The Big Sky collection was inspired by some of the dramatic skies we experience in Scotland and how the beautiful landscape manages to frame them perfectly. Our original watercolour illustration has been printed onto a soft cotton twill with slight woven texture and then handmade into a drum lampshade with rolled edges and one single seam.
When you light the bulb of the lampshade, the colours of the Aurora seem to glow, bringing the stunning seasonal night sky effortlessly into your home.
The Aurora lampshade is available in two sizes:

If you'd like it in a different size or orientation, please get in touch with us. Please note that the lampshade does not come with a base - it is ready to attach to a standard lamp base.
All lampshades are designed and handmade in Scotland by us and are made to order so please allow 3 weeks until dispatch. We also make a wide range of cushions and bolsters with our unique illustrations, including a matching rectangular aurora cushion.

Our lampshades feature illustrations, which means the orientation you choose will dictate the direction of your design. If you need a shade for a lamp base or standing lamp, where the shade will sit on the bulb fitting, please make sure to choose the Floor & Table option.
If it’s a shade that will hang from the ceiling, or hang from it’s light fitting, be sure to choose Pendant & Ceiling. See the images for examples. The wrong orientation will mean your design is upside down, and the bulb will likely be visible over the shade!

If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We accept returns within 14 days of purchase. You can return your product onto one of our store gift cards or swap for a different product.
As a small business we can only issue refunds on faulty products.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:
- Discounted, sale and custom items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Jewellery items such as earrings due to hygiene reasons
- Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
- Bespoke and made to order items are not eligible for a refund unless faulty.
