A beautifully unique print from Ploterre that uses data to create artwork. This Green Bird Hues Smallprint is inspired by watching the birds fly into the garden and the spectrum of colours that paints the skies.
This colour chart orders the green hues of the most common garden birds in Britain using a combination of image analysis and weighted means.
The colours have been identified using scientific illustrations of male birds from the British Trust for Ornithology.
The ordering takes into account the proportion of colour, prevalence of the bird and the proportion of gardens they frequented. The most prominent colours are at the top to least prominent are at the bottom.
Includes wraparound window mount that tells the story behind the print.
