Is there anything worse than waiting? I am so hugely impatient so it doesn't get much worse for me! However, you can't rush concrete (well not unless you want a serious mess to deal with) so wait we must...
Let the de-moulding commence!
This stage is actually easier than you would think. The paper just peels right off leaving behind the super smooth concrete behind and making your little planters look super professional. There is a bit of sanding and buffing to be done just to give them nice neat edges, then after waxing, it's onto the fun bit.... the decorating
So this bit is entirely up to you. A lot of people like to leave them plain and let the concrete do the talking but if you wanna be brave, then you can play with some metallic spray paint! Robert brings lots of geometric designs that you can layer up to create your own shapes. The possibilities are endless so let your imagination run wild.
Whilst waiting for your fancy metallic design to dry, it's time to choose what little plant will live in each planter. This involves more thought that you might imagine. Each little plant is different and will give a different look to your finished planter.
Then that's it!!! Three little planters that are completely unique and made by your own fair hands! Expect feelings of serious smugness!
