Based in the picturesque town of South Queensferry on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Harbour Lane Studio opened it's doors as a studio shop for the first time on the 26th of November 2016. The studio is tucked down a little lane off the High Street in a building that used to be an old bakery (you can still see all the old ovens!)

  

Finding the studio involves following a trail of mermaids that lead the way. From the plant signs on the bollards to the hanging metal sign over the lane to the front door. Once inside you'll find work from over 70 different artists and makers based all over the UK.

But it's not just a shop! The open plan space is also the working studio of Illustrator Tori Gray who creates a range of illustrated homeware from right in the shop. This means that customers can watch the products being made whilst they shop which helps to promote of message of supporting artists and makers. Tori also takes on commissions and can create bespoke designs for lampshades and cushions.
